2025 ACCCCS Conference Organized Outings (Optional)

We have 3 amazing outing options on Wednesday, May 7th: Chicago Favorites Walking & Food Tour (3:30 PM), Chicago River Boat Architecture Tour (4:00 PM), and Live Sketch Comedy (8:00 PM). Timing permits you to do either of the earlier options plus the evening option. You cannot do both of the earlier options as they conflict with each other.

Chicago Favorites Walking & Food Tour

FOOD and fun, fun, fun! In an exciting three hours, you’ll feast on Chicago culinary legends such as deep-dish pizza, Italian Beef, a Chicago-style hot dog, popcorn, and a delectable dessert! All dishes are included in the ticket price, plus, you can add a VIP Craft Beer package and sample three of our favorite local craft beers (9oz pours).  We’ll walk throughout the city, seeing and learning the history of Chicago attractions including Millennium Park, Michigan Avenue (aka ‘the Magnificent Mile’), the Chicago Riverwalk, Cloud Gate (aka ‘the Bean’), the Chicago Theater, State Street (that great street), The Palmer House Hotel, and more.

• $92 per person (+ optional $24 VIP Craft Beer Package - includes three samples of local craft beers, 9oz pours)
• Getting there: Gather in lobby at 3:00 PM to walk to starting point or meet our group there.
• Meet there: Tour departs at 3:30 PM from Lou Malnatis Pizzeria - 410 N Michigan Ave (Rideshare/Taxi or 10 minute walk)

What to Bring:

• Please bring an ID
• Please bring a bottle of water. A few restaurants will serve water, but not all of them. So it's highly recommended to bring a bottle of water.
• Wear comfortable clothing/shoes

Chicago River Boat Architecture Tour

Relax and learn! When in Chicago, cruising down the Chicago River is a must. Except with us, you’ll be taking in the architecture of the buildings that line the beautiful river. We provide detailed explanations of the construction and history of over 50 significant buildings, wrapping up at the end of the river.

• $52 per person
• Getting there: Gather in the lobby at 3:30 PM to walk to the departure point or meet the group there.
• Meet there: Tour departs at 4:00 PM from 465 N McClurg Ct, Chicago, IL 60611 (Rideshare/Taxi or 15 minute walk)

Live Sketch Comedy

Laugh with friends! Come see The Second City Mainstage brand new 113th Revue. This is the most exciting time to see a show on our stages. The case is fresh, new material is worked into the show every night, and your laughter in the audience helps shape the final show.
90 minute show with 15 minute intermission. (In case you are considering bringing family members age 13+. Rated R.)

• $59 per person
• Getting there: Gather in the lobby at 7:00 PM to travel as a group by CTA train (“L”).
• Meet there: Arrive by 7:30 PM via Rideshare/Taxi , CTA or 2 mile walk.
• Return back to hotel right after the show or drop in to neighborhood bars.
